Ein Gedi is an oasis and a nature reserve in Israel, located west of the Dead Sea, near Masada and the Qumran Caves. King David hid in the desert of Ein Gedi (1 Samuel 24:1-2) and King Saul seeks him "even upon the most craggy rocks, which are accessible only to wild goats" (1 Samuel 24:2). King Saul tried to kill King David but David spares Saul's life and shows him a piece of his robe that was taken while Saul was sleeping, showing King David would not kill King Saul.
